⛔ a COVID-19 Event Photography/Videography Policy

We can only imagine the stress that this pandemic is causing you considering the work and effort that go into planning your event! We want you to know that we’ve got your back and a plan, and we hope we can bring you more peace of mind during this uncertain period.

Rescheduling

As you know, we received a non-refundable deposit upon booking your event. If the event is canceled or rescheduled, whether as a result of government recommendation, third party choice (venue, etc) or personal choice, we cannot refund this deposit. That said, you will not be expected to pay the remaining balance owing for your event. The deposit can go toward rescheduling your date if this is the case, or it can be used toward another photo session such as an Elopement, Adventure Session or something else we discuss. Please note that there is no fee for rescheduling your event as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health & Wellness

Secondly, we do ask that if you or anyone involved present symptoms of COVID-19 and if you choose to go against quarantine recommendations and still have your event, that you let us know. It is our feeling that in this case, you should immediately cancel your event to reduce the spread of this virus to your guests and vendors. As your photographer or videographer, we spend a lot of time with you and come in very close contact. A pandemic falls under the Force Majeure in our contract and we reserve the right to cancel services without penalty in case of pandemic exposure in order to keep our communities safe. 

We are also committed to YOUR health and well being, so if our team members are health compromised, we will not put you or your guests at risk.  We will, however, work with our extensive network of local photographers and videographers to find you a healthy substitute. This is already spoken to in our contract, however, in the past, we might have photographed the event ourselves by taking symptom suppressing medications.  In this current climate, if we had any flu-like symptoms we’d err on the side of caution and find you quality substitutes.

Payment Info 

Some people are losing their jobs or are on limited hours due to the virus, and as such payments may become a problem. Please reach out to us individually and we will do our best to either set up a payment plan or figure out a solution that will work best for both of us going forward

Our hope is to come out on the other side of this pandemic with a whole lot of pent up energy, eager to celebrate with loved ones in close quarters again.  What a relief it will be!
